Doctor Who
The famous UK series of the Time Lord, an alien from the planet Galifrey, moving around with some Humans to save the Time and Space from Chaos in his TARDIS. More information...
Also to see, the spin off "Torchwood", an organisation developped in the 2nd of the new doctor who series to watch the doctor's activities. The organisation is finally taken over by the captain Jack Harkness.
Broadchurch
A criminal series in an english town. With the famous David Tennant, who played the 10th doctor. More information...
Being Human (UK)
The real series from UK. They turned an american version, but Aidan Turner, Russel Tovey and Lenora Crichlow are great :)
The cohabitation of a vampire, a werewolf and a ghost desperatly trying to live a normal human life. More information...
Chicago Fire
In the US series I currently watch, a firefighter house in Chicago. There is also a spin off "Chicago PD", which deals with the police department.
Once Upon A Time
Another series I like: after a curse of the Evil Queen, the fairy tales' characters are trapped in the real world, and they don't even know who they really are anymore. Emma is the only one who can save them : She is the daughter of Snow White and Prince Charming, but she was a baby when she was sent into safety and she doesn't believe in fairy tales...
There are a lot of flashbacks and the fairy tales are rewritten. It is very clever.
The Listener
Some Canadian series now. A man who can read minds solve criminal cases. More information...
Andromeda
A sci-fi series. A captain of the intergalactic republic gets stuck in a black hole with his spaceship. When space pirates take him out, 300 years have passed. The republic has fallen and every one he has ever known is dead. He turns the people who saved him to his cause: recreating the republic to fight their real ennemies.

A criminal english series about a pastor in the 1950s.
How to Get Away with Murder (FR: Murder)
About a law professor and criminal defense attorney. She selects five students to intern at her firm.
The Brokenwood Mysteries (Brokenwood)
A criminal series from New-Zealand. Seems to be worth seeing if it has been translated and arrived in France ;)

The Inn of the Sixth Hapiness (L'auberge du sixième bonheur) (1958)
One of my favourites. The true story of a British maid who goes to China on her own to become a missionary. The war breaks out between China and Japan. She has taken in every orphans of the neighbourhood and must bring them to a city at the other side of China...
With Ingrid Bergman and Curt Jurgens.
The Blind Side (2009)
A woman of the poshy society takes a big destitute black young man under her wing. He appears to have a real talent for american football.
Very touching and funny. With Sandra Bullock.
Laggies (Girls only) (2015)
One of the last films I saw at the theater. A young woman on her 30 still doesn't know what to do of her life. All of her friends appear as strangers to her. She meets a group of teenagers one night. She takes a week to think about her life, what she spends by one of them.
With Keira Knightley, Chloë Moretz and Sam Rockwell. More information...
All films with English speaking origin have the original version on it, most of times with English subtitles, so no excuse, you can watch films in English, even cartoons!
